Store Clerk Position (2 available):

Part-Time or Full-Time


We are looking hard-working, independent employees who are friendly and caring of our customers.


Job Duties:

- Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete sales transactions.

- Ensure the counters and store is kept neat and attractive; and is able to communicate inventory shortages to kitchen staff.

- Operate cash register and credit card machines. Receive payment from customer in cash, check or credit card, and accurately count and provide change when applicable.

- Place up daily orders, and receive and verify customer orders.

- Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.

- Clean and maintain the inside areas of the store.

- Be able to operate machinery such as a bread slicer and bun slicer. - Be able to stock drinks, breads, and buns properly.

- Maintain personal cleanliness including clean clothes, aprons, and person

- Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

- No degree required

- Outstanding customer service skills

- Willingness to be open, to learn and take on new responsibilities

- Regular, predictable attendance

- Effective communication skills

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions

- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to handle multiple demands

- Adherence to deadlines


Physical Requirments:

- Standing, walking, bending, sitting and reaching

- Using hand or fingers to handle or feel

- Regular use of sharp cutting instruments

- Ability to taste and smell

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs


Must be available Tuesdays through Saturdays (off on Sundays and Mondays, except during major holidays).


Work Environment:

Fast paced retail environment with food service equipment and coolers and in cold/hot working conditions (i.e. cooler or near heated surfaces). Other high to moderate noise including but not limited to cash registers, telephones, music, human voices, and machinery.


Kitchen Staff Position (1 available):

Part-Time or Full-Time


We are looking for a hard-working, independent employees who has cooking and baking knowledge.


Job Duties:

- Produce and prepare deli salads, noon lunches, and catering orders, ensuring food is tasty, fresh and attractive

- Determine which recipes need to be made each day by consulting the production sheets and current inventory.

- Strictly follow the system of documentation necessary to effectively meet HACCP standards

- Utilize efficient cooking techniques and knife skills

- Deliver, properly complete dishes to customers as appropriate

- Keep deli cases stocked and attractive

- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace

- Maintain personal cleanliness including clean clothes, aprons and person

- Maintain inventory and stock storeroom, freezer and coolers as needed

- Treat people fairly, consistently and with respect

- Participate in catering events (such as weddings, funerals, and other catered events)

- Maintain a positive attitude

- Perform all other duties as assigned by Owners and Supervisor
